Miyagikyo
Opened in 1969 in a valley near Sendai, Miyagikyo is the deliberate opposite of Yoichi: a mild, humid, mist-filled site that slows maturation. It uses indirect steam heating at lower temperatures to protect the spirit's delicacy.
