Welcome. My name is Jakub Kolada and it is my genuine pleasure to introduce WhiskyPolska — a place I built to bring together the Polish community of whisky tasting and collecting enthusiasts.
Why WhiskyPolska
I designed this application for the most inquisitive and analytical minds — for people to whom whisky is not merely a drink, but a whole world of history, distilleries and flavours worth exploring. My aim is to make the Polish whisky market transparent, and the knowledge about it available in one carefully designed place.
What you'll find inside
Bottle profiles and flavour wheels in three styles, trivia about distilleries and their owners, a convenient search and a price comparator across more than a dozen Polish shops, Whiskybase community ratings, a history of your own tastings, and a virtual assistant that — knowing your history — points you to the next bottles worth discovering. Games and a whisky club are coming soon.
Pioneers and Supporters
Right now every feature is entirely free, and the service stores no payment-card data. Creating an account during the launch window comes with a limited Pioneer badge — a lasting distinction and a permanent discount on the future “Supporters” plan. Supporters will also enjoy extra benefits: rewards, surprises and WhiskyPolska merchandise (18+, subject to terms).
How the comparison works
Every day we automatically collect prices and availability from Polish shop websites, normalise product names (so the same bottle from different shops maps to a single record) and enrich the data with region, cask, age, ABV and Whiskybase community ratings. On each bottle you see current prices from every shop that stocks it — sorted lowest first.
Neutrality and independence
We do not sell alcohol and we run no shop of our own. The order of offers is determined solely by price — we charge nothing for a higher ranking and favour no seller. Our only commitment is accurate data for the user.
Where the data comes from
Prices and availability come from publicly available Polish shop websites and are refreshed automatically. Ratings and some flavour metadata come from Whiskybase. Despite automated checks, prices may differ from the shop at the moment of purchase — always confirm the price on the seller's page. Spotted an error? Let us know.
