Timeline

1936 Thompson Willett, grandson of John David Willett, founded the current distillery, initially named "Old Bardstown Distillery".
1937 The first barrel of bourbon was filled at the newly established distillery.
1984 Distilling operations at the Willett facility ceased due to market conditions.
