Islay Mist is a blended Scotch whisky originally created in 1922 for the 21st birthday celebration of the Laird of Islay. It was conceived to offer a whisky that embodied the character of Islay while being more accessible. The blend famously features Laphroaig single malt as its heart, combined with other Islay malts and Speyside grain whiskies. Today, the brand is owned by MacDuff International.
