Bushmills

Smithills distillery was active in the 1780s under an unknown distiller who was declared bankrupt in 1790. It is probable that the distillery buildings were used for other purposes after Smithills folded. However, a map of 1828 does not show any buildings being used as a maltings, mill or any other facility a former distillery could be converted to.
