Peat Monster

As the name suggests, a blend of smoky Island and Highland single malts from Compass Box.

Before The Peat Monster there was… The Monster, a bespoke bottling created by independent bottler Compass Box for Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York. So popular was the blend, that when stocks of the peaty expression started to run low Compass Box decided to make the whisky available to the rest of the world. And so, in 2003, The Peat Monster was born. In September 2013, to celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary, Compass Box released a limited edition blend. Non-chill-filtered and bottled at 48.9% abv, only 5,700 bottles were launched.
