The distillery in brief
Togouchi is a Japanese blended whisky brand produced by Chugoku Jozo, a company primarily known for sake and shochu. Unlike traditional distilleries, Chugoku Jozo imports malt and grain whiskies, which are then blended and aged in a unique former railway tunnel in Togouchi, Hiroshima Prefecture. This facility, providing a stable environment for maturation, is central to the Togouchi whisky production process.
